Staying in touch with other professionals during the pandemic can be difficult. But with the Digital After Work @Fresenius, we aim to fill the void and create a new, virtual space where experts from different companies can still network & exchange ideas in a laid-back manner. Not in the same room. But during a joint Teams video conference – featuring a maximum of 30 participants to allow true networking and knowledge sharing.
Each After Work highlights a new focus topic and is kicked off by a different Fresenius department with related, hands-on insights from their daily work. After this short impulse, the stage is open for the external participants: During a relaxed, virtual gin tasting we have plenty of time to discuss the presented project, and other current challenges and trends in the industry.
All professionals and senior professionals interested in the focus topic are invited to join the upcoming event, exchange ideas and network. Did we spark your interest? Applying is simple! — All we need is a link to your business social media profile, to do a short check if your profile matches with the upcoming topic.
We’re looking forward to meeting you there!
The next Digital After Work will give a thorough insight into the topics of the Global Digital Solutions and the Software and Digital Architecture Department at Fresenius Medical Care’s Global Research and Development Division.
Especially in health care, digitalization offers a myriad of opportunities – while at the same time, data protection and IT security are of utmost importance when handling sensitive patient data. Our colleagues will share different hands-on approaches on how they are overcoming these challenges and are fostering innovations while also setting new standards in IT and data security for our patients worldwide.
The event will be held in English.
After completing his degree in electrical engineering, Thomas joined Fresenius Medical Care in 2000. During his over 20 years with the company, Thomas has been an important driver and later project leader in many software development projects initiated by the Global Research and Development Division. Thomas now builds on this profound experience in his current role as head of GRD’s international software development teams in Bad Homburg, Bucharest and Shanghai.
After starting his career at Philips Healthcare, Matthew joined Fresenius Medical Care in 2016 focused on architecting solutions in the Digital Health space. Passionate about product security in healthcare, Matthew now strategically positions Fresenius Medical Care by directing the new formed Global Software and Digital Architecture Solutions organization.
Due to the limited number of spaces available, we have to pre-select participants. However, we made sure the application process is quick and simple — all we need is a link to your website or your business social media profile.
We will do our best to respond to your application as soon as possible — you will hear from us within a week at most via email.
The After Work events are held in English.
The Digital After Work @Fresenius is hosted virtually as a Microsoft Teams video conference. If your application is successful, we will send you the dial-in information in due time before the event.
About 10 days prior to the event, we will send you a link to order a free gin tasting kit directly from our partner. Please do not open your kit until the After Work event, no matter how difficult this might be ;-). During the networking session, an expert from the Liquid Director Club will join our video session to tell us more about the different gin varieties and guide us through the tasting. Please note, that the free gin packages can only be shipped to locations within Germany!
Of course, you can also order an alcohol-free tasting kit from our partner. If you choose this option, you will receive one 500 ml bottle of alcohol-free gin instead of three different 200 ml bottles. The rest of the kit will be the same.
The gin tasting session is entirely optional. You are welcome to take part in the networking session without ordering a gin tasting kit.
Each After Work event features a different Fresenius department and area of expertise. If the upcoming topic isn’t relevant to your interest, we invite you to follow our LinkedIn page to always stay tuned about upcoming event dates.
